Dr Webster’s Recommendation: La Roche-Posay Lipikar Lait Urea 5+ with a highly effective formula helps to reduce the rough appearance of the skin while reinforcing the cutaneous barrier. Urea is humectant i.e. it attracts water into the skin and this melt-in texture provides a velvety, non-sticky and non-greasy finish. It can also be used to reduce the symptoms of atopic eczema, asteatotic eczema (winter eczema), keratosis pilaris and ichthyosis (genetically dry skin). Ideal for those rough patches on the arms, legs, and elbows. It has been tested on the skin of people with diabetes.
