Obagi CLENZIderm Therapeutic Lotion is a lightweight treatment formulation to effectively target bacteria, gently exfoliates, and soothe skin. Suitable for oily, acne-prone skin.
Key ingredients include encapsulated Benzoyl Peroxide (BPO) to penetrate deep into the follicle to target the acne at the root of the problem. It is an anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial agent and reduces blemishes, pimples, blackheads, and whiteheads. It inhibits bacteria that cause acne and helps remove dead skin cells, preventing pores from clogging up.
Dr Webster’s Recommendation: Obagi CLENZIderm Therapeutic Lotion should be used as a targeted spot treatment on areas where you experience breakouts. Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, if bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to every other day. It does not contain sunscreen so always apply one when outdoors during the day. Caution: Only use once a day at night – see product instructions. If using in pregnancy, best to be used as a spot treatment.

Face Use: PM
- Caution: Only use this product once a day.
- Caution: Avoid eyes as stinging may occur.
- This lotion should be applied after cleansing in the evening as a spot treatment. Do not wash the lotion off and allow it to dry and absorb before applying any other products.
- Apply a small amount of lotion onto a cotton wool pad for larger areas like the forehead if it is very congested. If there is only one spot use an earbud to apply the lotion.
- This product can cause irritation if overused - apply sparingly and only as needed.
- When using active ingredients such as Benzoyl Peroxide (BPO) you need to be extra cautious about using a sunscreen during the day. Apply one in the morning and re-apply throughout the day.
- Avoid eyes as stinging may occur. If it does make contact with your eyes rinse with water immediately.
- Wash hands after applying as BPO can bleach fabric and coloured hair, so apply carefully and wait until it drys on the skin before coming into contact with linen and clothing.
