    pHformula SPOT ON Blemish Active helps to rapidly clear and soothe the discomfort of acne breakouts. Suitable for acne-prone skin and prone to post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

    Key ingredients include Mandelic Acid, a gentle acid with powerful antimicrobial properties that helps control microbes associated with acne eruptions, without causing irritation. Salicylic Acid is an effective keratolytic, allowing additional actives to penetrate more effectively. Tea Tree Oil contains antibacterial, anti-fungal, antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties. Azelaic Acid works to reduce the growth of bacteria in follicles and helps rebalance keratinization.

    Dr Webster’s Recommendation: pHformula SPOT ON Blemish Active combines a cocktail of proven actives associated with effective acne treatment. Suitable for acne grade I, II and III, which may also include excess sebum, enlarged pores, and superficial scarring. This product can also be used for Pseudofolliculitis barbae (razor bumps) as a spot treatment. It will not treat the cause but it will help with the razor bumps caused by the ingrown hairs. Always use a high-factor broad-spectrum sunscreen during the day when using this product.

    Caution: This product contains Mandelic Acid which is derived from bitter almonds and should be avoided if you have a nut allergy.

    I decided to stray from my usual choice of spot treatment and give this one a try and I have found myself bitterly disappointed. For me, this product is ineffective and my usual choice delivers far superior results and is only a little more expensive.

    Amazed with results!! Maskne had the better of me and this save the day. I could see a difference after 1 day of 4 applications. Two weeks later and everything is now 99% under control. I’m always sceptic about spot creams for acne but I would highly recommend this product.
