Key ingredients include patented Ceramide-P is a ceramide that creates a multiple lipid layered structure similar to normal human skin. Instead of creating a single layer of lipid on the surface of your skin like conventional moisturisers, Serra mimics the human skin barrier, essentially replacing what is missing and eliminating the root cause of dry skin. Dr Webster’s Recommendation: Lamelle Serra Soothing Cream mimics the naturally occurring lipids in the stratum corneum (outer layer of the skin). It helps to calm itching, redness, and severely inflamed skin while reducing transepidermal water loss (TEWL). Most importantly it helps to restore the skin barrier function in those with compromised skin making it less sensitive. Clinical studies in both adults and children have shown significant improvements in signs and symptoms of Atopic Dermatitis when Ceramide-P has been used regularly. If your skin is very dry, sensitive and inflamed use this cream but once the sensitivity and inflammation have resolved, you can use the Lamelle Serra Restore Cream to maintain hydration levels and keep the barrier intact.

- After cleansing with Serra Cleansing gel apply Serra Soothing cream to the affected area at least twice in a day.
- A slight tingling sensation may be felt with drier skin sufferers. Use repeatedly throughout the day as required.
- Serra moisturisers may in some cases be associated with a slight tingling sensation when first used.
- This sensation, if it occurs, usually resolves after a few applications. This is merely the skin barrier being re-built by the moisturiser.
